The COSMOPOLIS awarded for the second time

Just two months after clinching a world record for the “most meteorite inserts in a watch” from the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™, the COSMOPOLIS picked up a second prestigious award for its exceptional design.

The 19th edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards was the stage for this renewed honoring of the COSMOPOLIS, which was designated “Best Design Watch”.

This prize highlights the technical ingenuity of this timepiece. It not only integrates fragments of twelve different meteorites, but has also created a very clear and transparent design, making each second a veritable ode to the immensity of space.

On the brushed grey dial of the COSMOPOLIS, the hours are subtly shown in the middle of ten circular meteorite fragments, each placed on a mount. Radiating at centre of this masterpiece is an extremely rare and fascinating lunar meteorite, while a black chondrite meteorite forms the discreet backdrop to the tourbillon.

The Middle East Watch & Jewellery of the Year Awards are held in Dubai, UAE, and celebrated their 19th edition this year. This remarkable event, which took place on November 22 in the opulent Green Room at the Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, pays tribute to the most sought-after creations in the world of watches and jewellery.

It is organised by the editors of the Arabian Watches & Jewellery magazine and has become one of the key events for those who have a passion for watches and jewellery the world round.
