Memoris Titanium

Limited edition of 28 watches

Memoris Titanium

“Memoris”, the first chronograph watch in history, is an exclusive creation of Ateliers Louis Moinet, celebrating the heritage of the eponymous watchmaker, Louis Moinet (1768-1853). Moinet is certified as being the inventor of the chronograph in 1848, high-frequency watchmaking (216,000 vibrations per hour) – and thus of high-precision chronometry, too.

Memoris is the first watch in which, rather than being an additional function, the chronograph really is the primary function. As such, the mechanism is fully visible on the dial side. Memoris’ manual caliber is designed to show off the chronograph’s action in full as soon as the pusher is engaged. The column wheel orchestrates a graceful ballet of gears, passing information to the hands.

To showcase the chronograph in the style it deserves, Louis Moinet has redeveloped practically every decorative item, with a new case, new hands, a new dial, a new oscillating weight, a new folding clasp, and more. For the first time, Memoris is now available with a contemporary 46-millimetre titanium case, making it very light on the wrist.
